CF gear knob
The only thing missing on my interior is a carbon fibre gear knob. Only for those that don't have push button start. It's the mould that's expensive, but if I go ahead ( presuming no one else has) is anybody interested in sharing the cost by buying one.

There is a German company that makes CF bits as well, ask AMGFan, he bought his interior CF trim from them. Their name begins with a K I believe.

Kicherer...but I bought my kit from a local vendor who purchased them. Not sure if they got it directly from Kicherer, though. Try Ebay becuase that is where I saw their post for the CF kit.

DCT and Performance Products both have the CF gear knob and are good quality.

I have tried ebay, does anyone have a photo of one.

Is Performance Parts and DCT in California. My son lives there and could probably get one easier than me.

Yes, DCT is in California.

I just ordered a Silver Full Carbon Fiber Shift Knob from DCT for my SL55.



And I ordered a Black Carbon Fiber Shift Knob for my SLK55.

Hello,

I ordered and installed the carbon fiber shift knob from DCT in CA. I found their product and their support (install instructions, etc.) very good.

I would recommend them - and I am in no way associated with these guys....

A happy customer for sure.....

Thanks for all your help, I found out you have to put in google DCTMS.com
and it all comes up. I will buy the one without push start and a MB badge,
it looks real neat and will compliment the rest of the CF bits.
