SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: V12 Engine Out (feast your eyes)
Not "too" concerned about internals (maybe the block ) since they are forged n we are less than 100hp/cylinder.
We left torque alone . I don't want axle/rear end/trans issues. Besides, we're never going to hook em early n if we did clutch will slip in current form no matter what anyone says.

SUPER CARS EXPOSED will be filming a special supercar shootout at the Texas Mile. Got called about including my car but I passed. Did not want my car put thru brutal testing by Tanner. (Tests would have included not just the mile but braking, autocross, 0-60, braking etc...). I like my car too much to hand it over to a stranger. Some of you may disagree but my car is an extension of my family

Any Videos yet
... what are the tq numbers? keep it coming and best of luck on the TM brother!
What tires are you using for the 200+ mph run (R compund tires?)...Y rated are only rated for upto 189 if I'm not mistaken?
...make sure you nut and bolt the car AND torque lugnuts by hand in the morning and check between runs
...doing lap after lap at places like VIR and Watkins Glen when I used to race w/ BMW CCA and NASA GTS I can't emphasize the importance of this sorta thing especially at well over 150 mph...had a wheel come loose and shake the racecar violently on the back straight at Watkins Glen atop the climbing esses once at max speed in 5th gear just after a race had started...will never forget how that felt

the event. Apparently I was only teched for 190. My gps showed 193. I'll post pic of it when I get back. Bottom line it took 350 extra hp to go from 173-193
It also took 150 hp extra to go from 185 to 193. I think it will take me another 200hp to hit 200mph. So about 1150-1200hp(crank ). A Ford GT with 1200hp will do 220 in the mile but its 1200 pounds lighter. The one variable we didn't explore was switching to drag slicks which may or may not be worth an extra 2-5mph for the mile.
My Turbos can sustain 30psi with the "sweet spot" at 26/27 but for now we are staying conservative on boost. n AFR, even though we believe this car has 1200-1300 hp, we are leaving good enough alone for another day. Also the car was designed to be abe to replace turbo to larger ones if we want with relative ease but we don't think the block can handle it, however there maybe a solution to that!!

@ only 23 psi
I def think smaller drag rads would give you few mph, but how small can you go w/those huge brakes? Good luck tamaraI think you just may own the fastest 600/65 on the planet

Are you saying that a flashed (that means only ECU, right..?) did 161mph on the quarter mile..??!
And that a Panamera (also only flashed) did 165mph..??

On the quarter mile..?! Sounds incredibly fast to me!!
Have I really got this right..?
And in that case, at what times? I don't see any times written there...

Anyway...glad to see your car put up a monster speed! For a little perspective, Road & Track tested a bunch of supercars a few years back: Bugatti Veyron did 204.4mph, a McLaren SLR did 181.2mph and a Ruf RT12 did 187.5mph. Some pretty impressive company!

+1
Great effort with incredible results!

Congrats on an incredible build and AMAZING results.

Nice build and great mph out at the Texas mile. It is a very humbling event when you think you have a fast car.
Still amazing that you are right around 1000rwhp in that car.
An to go faster you will need more power.
To give you an idea for a car with similar aerodynamics. A camaro out there went 201 with 1050rwhp, went 215 at 1350rwhp.
Great job and hope to see ya back in October with maybe a bolt in cage in your car.
As for a cage, I will never put a cage in car like that. Too keep a long story short, the car will be teched for 190+ in October. Its already handled.
I also want to mention that I PERSONALLY approached in the last year All the big tuners (hennessy, heffner, renntech, Ugr, etc...) and non wanted the project. Vrp said yes but that ended up mostly a failure and finally Marcin (SpeedDriven). Marcin is one of those rare humble geniuses that's also sincere and honest. I have used tuners for years and never before gave them a compliment because they did what is expected. ...nothing special. ...but SPEEDDRIVEN is in a class of their own.
