Anyone selling a set of Tire Pressure Monitoring sensors?
I have a 2006 SL55 and am mounting 20" wheels.
I'm not even sure if my car has tire pressure monitoring. Do all 2006 SL55 have it?
My 19" silver SL 65 wheels that came with the Performance Package will be for sale.

TPMS sensors fail when the battery runs out. My original sensors lasted five years.
If you buy used, you'll only get to to use the sensors for the remaining life of the battery so unless you get a super deal on the old sensors you are better off buying new.
If you want to see if your car came with a sensor system run your VIN through the Russian MB Club VIN lookup utility, http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng
The option code is probably "475 tire pressure control." At least it is on my 2003 SL55 with TPMS.

Look at the stem, if it's metal and has a nut chances are you do and can check the tire pressure on the information display.

are the batteries in the TPMS monitors replaceable or once they die you have to buy the new ones? Tirerack has them for like $99 a pc. How much are batteries?
