New best tonight!! 2006 SL65 AMG
I took my 2006 SL65 to San Antonio Raceway tonight and ran a new best time on my very first run...... 11.64 @ 124.04 mph with a 1.93 60 FT. This is only my second time to the track with this car. The car is absolutely showroom stock, no mods whatsoever.
Time to start adding some mods....... I was told to look into a company called Eurocharged. Anyone heard of them?

PS, Very nice times! Looks like you spun some , so 11.4`s should still be there with a little more traction..

Good job. With that MPH, you should be able to hit 11.2x - 11.3x with no problem. Once you learn how to launch it, and get a set of drag radials, your 60' time should come down to the 1.6x - 1.7x. That will drop your E.T. into the low 11s.
For comparison, I'm running 11.5x at 120 in my Eurocharged tuned SL600, with a 1.79 60'. You should be able to run that same E.T. in a stock SL65.

Traction control is what's limiting your 60' time to 1.9x. Try using a little less throttle next time...just enough to keep traction control from engaging. With practice you should be able to drop a couple of tenths off the 60' time and .3 to .4 off your 1/4 mile ET.

Your monster UGR car hit almost 190 in the 1/2 mile right? Place went bananas when your mph popped up. If I remember it just ran out of gear....
Jerry called me from the passenger seat of your Lambo a few days before the Mile. Said he'd never ever, felt a car pull like that.
Car is sick. I'd like a shot at your SL65 though?
