I get done washing and detailing the SL. It can’t just go back into the garage after a good cleaning, especially on a glorious sunny day so I drop the top and take her out for ride. Not five minutes into the ride, I’m sitting at a red light. This middle aged guy in an older pickup says: Hey how are those on maintenance, I’m thinking about buying one for my mother. Now I’m gobsmacked so my normal sarcastic a$$ mind can’t come up with a thing to say. Finally, I just comment that maintenance could be a bit high. I can’t even chirp the tires and grab a little WOT because the lane I’m in is stopped as he drives off. I guess the “E” guys might be more use to this kind of thing.

is it as beautiful as the "in bruges" movie portrayed?
i was considering going to see it
would it be more of an impact in summer or winter?

Eleven,

Bruges in the summer, no doubt. Discover parts of the city that you can only see by taking a boat on the canals.

i just sort of picture it snowing next to the castles on the water
...looking all ominous
maybe it was the movie that portrayed it in this way
but ill take your word for it
thank you

In the E55, we're not really used to it much because most people have no idea what it is. They just think it's a midsize family car. You usually have to show em some go before they'll mess with ya. Or if your E55 has some carbon fiber pieces on it.

good point. I guess you generally have to initiate things so to speak. After that, the other car is wondering what the hell just blew their doors off.
