This Ranger has survived two ambushes already in both Iraq and Afghanistan - he deserves our praise, thanks and most importantly PRAYERS for a safe return to his family and to our Forum. Thanks to all for your genuine concern in the up and coming deployment, however it is not slated to happen until Feb of 2011. Until than I will hold it down in the good ole "US of A" and again thank you all for your thoughts and concerns. Poker Emporer...love the reply! Very creative! Been travelling extensively and am finally enjoying my 2003 SL55 again! Haven't logged on in a while...I do need a right front strut, however, and am looking for a better price than $1,400 if anyone knows where to get one I would appreciate the help! Cheers! Rory

Parts.com has OEM parts cheaper than the dealer

Thanks for the reply. I found a company that does refurbished SL55 original struts for $750 including shipping. They have a 1 year warranty and supply many Florida Mercedes mechanics.

Yea, I just checked and parts.com has them for around $1100...Brand new though. $750 refurb is a great price if it's a trustworthy company.
