2007 Väth SL65 AMG. 2007 BMW Alpina B5s. 2007 BMW M6.
Neat 'n all, but I went for something more complicated to read!
Especially if one doesn't have much time to read it...

Just curious, how much do they cost int the US, and for how long do you have them..?

Here in Sweden they cost about $900,- and they are yours for 6 years. No other costs.
And after the 6 years, you'll get to decide if you want them for another 6 years.
If you decide not to, they of course are up for grabs...

I don't understand why some people use their vanity plate to say exactly what the badges a few inches up say. Why put "SL 55" or "C32 AMG" OR "SL AMG" when it's quite obvious thats what the car is. Why not something clever like "TOPLE55" or something like that?

I never understood that.

My vanity plate says "TORQUEY" because well....with 700+ lb-ft.....

Probably because the point of a "personalized" plate is so that you can have whatever you want...
Let's not turn the thread sour.. There is no "wrong" plate..
If you have some pics and feel like sharing, then please do so...
On a side note, I think TORQUEY is very clever.....

It generally is only restricted by state. You can't get the same letters on a plate registered within the same state.

I like the "AMG PWR" one. I may have to see if that one is available when I get my AMG car (on the hunt for it now).

It depends on the state I think. In Wisconsin we can have exact the same letters on different type of plates for example I can have a truck plate and a normal car plate using the same letters on both.

Mine is $15 extra each year when I pay for registration.

there goes BOR trying to be clever but turning things sour again ...

lol ....that is a clever plate...I think almost anything is better than a standard isssue ... even SL 55 or AMG or whatever as long as the owner likes. it. The only thing I don't like about vanity tags is easy to recognize...especially if you hit up similar spots or areas in the city...can't be creepin' with no vanity tags haha lol otherwise you might get caught slippin' haha

I "know a friend" who drove around with his car without a plate for almost a year. He just bought one of those artistic plates and put it in place. Most cops don't even notice. Besides, in some places, it's not even a "pull-over" offense. They have to nab you for something else.

Like I said, I just heard, er, I mean a friend did it, yea, yea, that's it. I could be wrong. Besides, Steve Jobs does it. http://osxdaily.com/2010/03/28/steve...icense-plates/
