SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Front pad question.

The Stealership wants $600,- for those, here in Sweden.
So I called the "after-market-shop".
Theirs cost only $140,-!
BUT he said, according to his books, they are the same as to the 55's..!
Is that really true..?
I just had my rotors and pads replaced with Evosport's lightweight rotors and Akebono pads.
The Akebono pads are working well for me but another forum member had issues with his: https://mbworld.org/forums/sl55-amg-...rake-pads.html
Here are some alternatives:
- Get new rotors and pads: For street use, bed or don't bed your brakes.
- Get new pads for your used rotors: If you are mounting pads with a different compound, you'll need to bed you brakes or re-machine your rotors.
I'm getting Akebono Ceramic pads with new OEM rotors in a few days. Although I don't expect any problem and don't require a true bedding of the brakes, since the bedding will happen slowly as I use the brakes, I may still do a true hard bedding to accelerate the process...and it's fun!
