Get a warranty....MB ideal, but there are other good ones...Easy care is one offered by most MB dealers...

Car is luxury cruiser combining luxury with crazy fast straight ahead exhilarating acceleration, but not a hard core sports car, so make sure that is what you want.....

Fit and finish is great both inside and out, engine bullet proof, transmission smooth shifting, handling above average, expensive to fix, great versatility with folding hardtop convertible feature, gas mileage poor although surprising 20MPG on trips about 15 around town, sound system above average not great, classic great overall looks you never tire of, comfortable driving position, massaging seats nice, but not as good as expected, ventilated seats are a hype.................all these pros and cons and I love the car!!

okay for everyday use, but not much storage....and Nav is just fair even with upgraded discs...

How much for warranty mercedes and easy care?

Obviously its better to have one when I buy one. How much to expect to pay if I get a great deal and end up buying the sl65 minus the warranty.

Im looking at one in NY for 50k.. Sounds too good to be true with 20k miles.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
Not a lot of these....

left that are puffs. Those that are are very expensive. But the logic of owning one now is beginning to disappear, as even the newest ones are out of warranty or near it. I'm not sure, are there 07's? In any event, they are approaching warranty expiration too. And the MB CPO is not that great. Very expensive and only good for one more year of coverage. Unfortunately, trustworthy aftermarket warranty companies are no longer selling coverage on AMG cars, and certainly not on cars that are out of warranty. It certainly would make me think twice.

Try Marshall Goldman, they have a 2006 SL65 with 6,--- miles, ask for Joe, he's the Manager and a stand up guy, I just bought a SL65 two weeks ago with 13K miles, which I had waited a couple of days for this one...

search for other puffs...

Go to msn.com autos and you will find some low mileage fair priced SL 65 cars...My warranty for Easy Car was thrown into the deal....but it has variable costs depending on term and miles expected to drive.....it will cover everything but "wear" parts.........a typical 4 year warranty was $3k....

MSN autos had 6 SL 65 cars under 8,000 miles and about a dozen cars under 20,000 miles for the years 2005-2008.....prices from 65k on up to 115K....there were several cars in the 40,000 mile plus range for mid 50's.....

I called easy care on an SL55 and the coverage the can offer on an AMG sux. Their price is high and they dont even cover the retractable roof which is friggin abusrd. I have a local MERC dealership that offers an exclusionary warranty for $4800 for 3/36. If you are going to pay for a warranty, it makes no sense for it not to be an exlusionary policy

Let me re-phrase this. The easycare coveergae is poor on AMG models that have already expired warranties

Easy care

Glad mine came with the deal after I negotiated final price and pushed for the coverage to close the deal.....I have had about $ 1,000 covered in one year....it did not cover any brake parts - i.e. rotors, pads.....

I'll have to check what is covered.....there are different levels of coverage and mine covers everything but wear parts.......hopefully the car will not have too many issues...only squeaky brakes so far and new rotors helped......

I have your cream puff '07 SL65 w/Starmark

Please take a look @ this posting; http://seattle.craigslist.org/est/cto/1989567372.html

I am the second owner and have never seen a nicer one. Both the HRE's (20") and OEM (19") wheels go with the car. The car has had clear bra (even half way up the hood) since new and has been fawned over by a detail freak (me!).
It's not too late for a road trip!

Yes, and don't get it confused with the film "Man in the Moon". When looking for it, the year it was released was 2009 and stars Sam Rockwell. Same guy who plays the oddly-tanned CEO in Iron Man 2.

Don't watch it on your COMAND system while driving

FLSL55, are all those 2005 models sold? If so, that's an incredible price difference there. Those low-mile ones are commanding a huge price premium.
