SL 63 AMG Wheels, need your opinion
I plan on powder coating my wheels black, but im torn between a matte black with 10 percent gloss or a gloss black. Any Thoughts? if any one has PChop skills appreciate if you could help.

wheels look pretty nice the way they are? I think black would be too much contrast, but just subjective....

The wheels have black highlighting around the spoke edges, etc. I think from the photos? That seems to be enough contrast with the body of the car and easier on the eye and more timeless....meaning you won't tire of them as quick as the all black wheels contemplated.....

I just ordered an identical wheel set to yours for my 600; both the offsets and style are spot on to my eye.
For your car, I'd go gloss black, the contrast will be sick.

I've done this to my wheels (the wheels on the pic are not the set I've currently on my ride, but I don't have any more recent pics... New wheels are glossy black too though).

I powder coated my wheels for my CL to mat black and the older they get the more I would put tire shine on them to make them look better. If I do it again (and I'm curently thinking about it) I would do it with a light gloss. BTW I have a sl63 with the same wheels

I would go like this,
My opinion is you have a very nice motor, going all black makes it look abit cheap. Go anthracite keeping silver on the spokes would look great! and spray the side fin in the same anthracite
Obviously each person has different taste...

I dont like coloring the stock wheels. They dont come they way as a option , so when you see a car with them you know its been done by a person. I would rather switch to a different wheel if you dont like the stock ones
