LOL indeed let it begin.

so far iv chosen the wheels i want to go for, so now its just a bit of research on lowering whether its to ahead with drop links or invest into a lowering module.

any recommendations?

Lowering module is my suggestion, I bought links and then after I drove around town for a day or two, I realized there are times I need the car to ride higher and there are some of the speed height settings worth keeping. I have a V3 renntech with touch screen computer for sale if u are interested

So 5 years ago you were a teenager and just now you can afford to be insured with an sl55 and yet you have owned the cars in your sig?

Just pointing out the obvious....

yeah I guess I'm a bit confused how you had an m3 but had troubles insuring an SL, the m3 has to be worse

yup believe it or not the m3 (2008) cost me 2k in insurance fully comp and this was just last year. To be honest couple of the cars in my sig were never insured at-least not in my name iv got friends with trade insurance so the cosworth and 200sx were put into that and i ever only drove them on rare occasions as they were projects i was doing.
the civic type r's, WRX, A3 and the were easy to get insurance on and the m3 evo i was 3rd driver. i tend to change cars every year r so as i find cracking deals but now iv got a car which i have always wanted as soon as i realized i can get insurance on 1 i sold the M3.
my current impreza is of road as its still a project which is still being completed.
The SL surprised me when i took the quote in-fact its cheaper then the M3 im 24 now so i guess i just got lucky iv got clean record and have been driving since i was 17 so iv got a good collection of no claim bonus's.
