For any member who will be wanting one, member lkirchner has 2 diffusers bought, and will be willing to sell one. So feel free to contact him if you are interested. The bumper should be here today, and we will get started on this right away!

Saw the SL500 diffuser and it looks great. Can I ask the status on the SL55/SL65 diffuser?

Very soon now I will have pics of the SL55 diffuser prototype. Sorry for the delay, it is a tiny bit behind schedule due to so much work we have had here. It is now waiting for the 3 fins to get attached, which is not hard. The hardest part was done, getting the impression of the stock bumper. Now that we have completed all the other stuff for the most part, the SL55 diffuser is now TOP PRIORITY to get completed ASAP.

I will say its amazing how much larger the exhaust openings are on the SL55 then the SL500 bumper. Here it is for you to see, the SL500 bumper is the first pic.

Its a bit early for that. We do not have any instructions yet. However, the part will come with installation instructions. And it definitely will not need a professional or a shop. You can if you wish, but it is definitely a DIY.

I missed this sitting on my *** and thinking about for well way too long. How would someone go and get one now?

 

I was away from forums with work demands for a while. Can I confirm this fits the '05 SL65? How can we go about ordering?

 

Hey guys, huge apologies for my delayed response! I have been insanely busy. I wanted to post pictures the other day, and when i saw the diffuser someone did not have the area flat in the center, and we needed to take off all the fins and fill in the bottom so it is all flush and flat. It needs about 2 more days till it is completed and we can start the mould. This is a quick picture of where its at now, however it is NOT done, so do not think this is what it will look like. The fins will get a little thinner, flatter, and more shape, also we need to shape the area around the exhaust tips. I will post more pics when that is done in about 2 days. sorry again for the delay. I will do whatever I can to rush this, even if i will have to expedite shipping on them to everyone. I just want to make sure this diffuser comes out awesome with no mistakes for such an awesome car!

Well, technically not since the agreement with the members here was to do this exclusive for 10pcs only and all 10 have been sold.

I have a 2005 SL65, I'd love to see a picture of it installed on car also. If it fits my car I'll want one too.
