It is getting ridiculous
New M5 coming, V8 twin turbo 540 bhp , new Jaguar XKR s up from 502 to
540 bhp, Audi RS6 570 bhp, it's turning into a game of who can make the most powerful. It's ridiculous, UK roads are becoming so congested what's
the point. People who own cars with mega horsepower and want to prove it
when racing something almost as powerful have got to be prepared to travel at 150mph plus to prove it, and if you get caught doing that speed it's prison
for dangerous driving.

Maybe this makes no sense, but they really need a different benchmark to compete in, like specific power or RPM or something that speaks more to the technology. I know Honda tried with the S2000, although not many followed suit.
I hope the 2014 F1 regulations (V6 Turbo running 15k revs) have an impact on this.
