Here it is safe and sound. Freshly washed and waxed in the garage.
My new mint 2003 SL55 w/ 31,000 original miles.

Originally before I got this particular car I had all kinds of mods in mind.
Headers, carbon fiber front lip and trunk spoiler, wheels, lowering links, resonator delete. However this car is so clean and original I don't think I will do anything to it.
I think I will save up again and buy a 2nd one and go nuts on that car.

I agree, however I doubt my wife is going to go for that idea right now. ;-)
It was hard enough getting her to go for 2 AMGs. She is a great lady.
I am sure in a while I can get her to go for it.

Nice Car...looks just like the one I bought in May after selling my R129 with 215K miles on her...difference between the two roadsters is unbelievable, though! 
But the wheels make the car look dated. Something more contemporary will make the car look new again...
