Cost to repair front bumper lower facia
Not a good day - hit an orange cone in the middle (!) of the freeway heading home tonight. It tore up the right front side of my lower front facia.
Anyone have any idea of what this part might cost and the repair? It looks to be one large piece that covers the whole front end.
Thanks in advance.

msrp on new bumper cover is ~$1700. There may be damage to some of the panels and brackets behind the bumper cover as well. R/R and paint is probably going to be near $1000.
Bumper covers can sometimes be repaired. But the whole bumper still needs to be repainted.

Thank you - the whole cover will need to be replaced as there is now a big gap in it and fiberglass pieces strewn all over N 280 at El Monte.
Any recommendations for decent body shop in the Bay area?

lower front bumper repair
I have a similar problem but not as bad , think I must have contacted a speed bump or curb - the lower left section of bumper has a scrape and looks like a slight tear - not very noticeable at this point but my concern is wind buffet at speed may do more damage - any suggestions on some sort of support repair to keep damage to a minimum ? I am located in SW Wa. about 25 mi north of PDX .

Well, its why we all have insurance.
Most of the time in situation like this your insurance company won't even mess with your rates, unless you have a running history of claims.
