My "BIG" Vossen disappointment

Well
I had a great experience with the Vossen wheels I bought for my SL65 so I figured I would get a set for my 2012 650 vert.

The wheels showed up and I was excited to get them on. To my surprise the off sets were no were even close to the right fitment. The wheels stuck out about a half an inch past the wheel wells.

I was told to send them back in the original boxes for a refund which I did.

Several weeks went by as I was wondering when my refund was coming back. I get a call saying they would only refund 50% of the cost. WTF???

So I guess they make nice wheels but do not have "ANY" kind of customer service. Its a shame.

I even sent Jay a PM on this forum almost a week ago with no reply. Funny, I was getting PM's and e mails on a regular basis when they wanted to do a photo shoot of my 65.

Needless to say I am VERY disappointed in Vossen and will never be putting a set on one of my cars again.

I have pics and hope to have them up in a few days when I get back from vacation.

You seem to be taking it well. Your SL actually put them at the top of my list for a possible wheels purchase, hope they make ya whole.

Did you order the rims and request a specific offset? If so, then the mistake was your fault and I can't blame Vossen for not wanting to give you a refund on a set of custom ordered rims.

OR

Did you order rims and tell them you have a BMW 650? If this is the case, it is absolutely their fault for giving you the wrong rims and they need to either exchange them for the correct ones and pay all shipping OR give you a full refund.

Please clarify.

I would never order a certain offset as I would have no idea of what to get. Told them I had a 650.

When I told them they didn't fit properly , I was told that is the only off set they have for this car

Camdon, first it is unfortunate you had this issue and we worked hard with your Vossen Wheels dealer to try to resolve this issue privately since we have not sold either set to you directly as we don't sell directly to the public.

I prefer to handle this like gentlemen privately so you have a PM with my information instead of me responding here. I would rather prefer not to add some major details and information missing here publicly. For the record I handle the marketing online which is why you never received a reply from Jav, you were not being ignored. We also have a contact page here.

We have proven ourselves to be on the forefront of customer service in the industry. We ALWAYS put the customer first.

Please see your PM. Again it is unfortunate you had this issue(s). Thanks.

As usual, Vossen and D2 do the right thing.

Glad I could help Camdon.
