Anyone ever get the 800HP package from Speedriven?

I'd like to get the package but their closest certified installer doesn't have a Dyno and I'd like to see both the before and after Dyno's to see the HP gain for myself. Just wondering if anyone has ever got their 800HP package and had a Dyno done on it afterwards and could confirm the HP gains.
Thanks in advance,

I'm purchasing my SL65 next week in Chicago then taking it straight to SpeeDriven to have them install the 800 hp kit. I'm going to have them do a baseline dyno then after install dyno. I'll keep you informed.

Can't wait to see your before and after Dyno's.

I would really like to know how it's possible to get that much on just an ECU and improved air intakes. I understand the intercoolers keep the IAT down and how high temps would lower HP from origonal amount but I can't see how it would increase HP above what you have. I have the Renntech ECU and their CF Airbox along with intercooler upgrade but we only ended up with about 675HP. If Speedriven can get it up to 800 HP I'll jump on board.
Thanks

Your worst nightmare...
My dyno's were the track times my car posted.. Best time prior to the package was 11.5 at 121 after the poackage 10.72@129. I think that speaks volume.

There are a few members with the package I am sure some have dynoed.

It does indeed speak volumes and suggests, although mighty powerful, your car is not putting out 800bhp. I also find it hard to believe that such mods can yield such horsepower and wait for the dyno results with interest.

That's a huge 1/4 mile time improvement. Given unknows of temp, tires, track condition - I don't doubt the 800 HP claim.

I guess I need to understand what we are talking about in these different kits. What I have on my SL65 is the 750HP kit. According to the SpeeDriven website the 800HP kit includes the addition of upgraded turbos. But it appears what people are calling the 800HP kit is what has been known, and is listed on the website, as the 750HP kit: ECU/TCU tune, top mounted intercoolers, IC pump upgrade and HE Upgrade. Correct me if I am wrong. If I was going to pull the engine to add upgraded turbos why mess around with only an extra 50HP. At that point go all the way to the 1000HP kit.

They have updated the kits, now 800 HP with stock turbos, see the below from this thread ...... I not clear on the TQ numbers or what gas grade the tune is using to get to the 800 HP

Well, I guess I have joined up with GeorgeJ and drabux, I have this same kit just installed since January 2012 and I want to see the Dyno numbers on this new improved version. The only thing I can see that may be different is the Tune. We couldn't get a final Dyno number since our Dyno shop just went out of business. But as things were progressing when we were Dynoing we would have needed another 60HP gain just from the IC pump and HE upgrade to reach the 750HP mark, which is very possible since the car kept falling on its face half way through each Dyno run due to heatsoak issues. Nothing against SpeeDriven, I am very happy with my 750HP kit but I would like to see the numbers to be able to squeeze out an addition 50HP. And if someone can show me where the extra 50HP gain comes from I want to add it to my kit.

I think you mean you got the intercooler pump upgrade not the actual intercoolers themselves. You might have paid intercooler upgrade type pricing though lol

If the airboxes are in place then there isn't enough room to put intercoolers under the hood and I don't think RennTech offers upgraded intercoolers. I think their upgraded IC pump and HE use the stock intercoolers. SpeeDriven removes the airboxes, replaces them with the Scorpion air intakes to make room for the oversized IC's

What's the previous dyno on the car?

When I bought the speedriven kit over a year ago, it was advertised as "825hp"
660rwhp put me there. I made 105rwhp over a stg1 brand X tune.
Inter coolers
Intake
Resovoir
Exhaust
100 oct ecu/tcu
Car ran 10.9@126.5(+3300ft da; 72 deg) 1.64 60ft

Stock car was 505whp. After ECU/TCU tune 560whp but was falling on its face as due to heat build up. Would love to get back to the Dyno now that the cooling mods were added. The loss of power during a pull has now gone away. Was hoping for 620whp to hit the 750bhp mark. Dyno was a Dynojet.

If you have the WHOLE kit(with the must have trunk res) tuned on 100 octane, you should be at 660rwhp. Mine did 555rwhp on 91octane/ Brand X tune.

I don't have the trunk resevoir but I have the rest of the kit and I am tuned for 93 octane. I am fairly confident I am in the low 600's now but have no way to Dyno it at the moment. My IAT's are down about 30 degrees since the 560whp Dyno run by adding the cooling mods.

That is exactly what I ask myself, maybe someone who got the kit could answer that. The intercoolers help to keep temperatures down, that is true, but they do not produce power, at least not huge amounts of it. (My car doesn't gain 150hp only because it is -10 degrees outside)
In the end the turbos have to produce the power, right? Considering that Renntech stops pushing the turbos any further at 700 hp, how much do they have to suffer to produce an extra 100hp? Can someone maybe tell what the maximum boost pressure is on this tune?

its not hard to set the turbos to max boost at a low rpm. many tuners can do that. speeddriven isn't going to magically get more than max boost. your car will pick up a dramatic amount of horsepower at -10 deg vs 110 deg. this is one of the things that a dyno operator can account for during the pull as well as other atmospheric conditions.

well, I would imagine there is an amount of boost that makes the turbos last for 200 000 km and there is an amount that will kill it after 20 000 km, or am I wrong? I would imagine speedriven have more than pushed these boundaries, as you said, there is no magic involved. There is a reason brabus changes the whole engine for the same amount of horsepower, and I mean the whole engine, including bore and so on. And Mercedes decides to completely update the turbo chargers just for gaining 40hp on the SL65 Black Series, besides a lot further hardware modifications. So how can 800hp possibly be good for the turbo chargers?
