My SL65 (2008) will need a new brake very soon. I did some research and found these rotors are extremely heavy and cost a lot $$$ to replace from dealers.

Does anyone know there is an aftermarket rotors available. Anyone suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Check EVOsport.......they were going to introduce one for the car....do a search also for the latest chatter on this, which was a few weeks ago....

Yes, I looked at their site but only REAR is listed:http://www.evosport.com/product/prod...VO.BRK.M30.RR1

Nothing for front which is 390x36mm

We will have an official announcement in a few days, but our 390mm brake rotors with our new evo2 design are in machining and we expect them to be ready late next week. We are taking orders now.

I have a pair of original MB disks A230 420 0472 at 35 mm. (New 36 mm.) They are on there way to being machined by prof. brake company right now. If they fit your car and your interested them PM me.
