Sure would love to see your car go down the track, but I will have to be satisfied with reading your posts on how it went. Just a bit too far of a drive for me. 
It is hard to get me to leave WI in the summer anyway. Now the winter is another story.

It didn't rain, we went, we ran, we won. Redbulljnky got there late and only got in three runs, and two of those were against me,, everyone in the stands were on their feet to see who was going to win.
There was about 10 Mustangs and 10 Camaro was there, custom to ask one to run me, not only did he say no, he put his helmet on backwards,, I had some fun as I asked some of the Camaros, come on and run me.. then I said this is the wife's car my my car is broken, they still said no,, even though I got to run three of the Camaros, and two of the Mustangs, of course beat them all. I had more fun than a barrel of monkeys I think that's what I was running against a barrel of monkeys,,, I didn't even have any competition until redbull showed up.
well me restate that, I did run one guy, I pulled ahead of him ,then he pulled ahead of me, than I pulled at him ,then he ran off and left me it left me standing still.. he ran a 10.9 nine at 140 ,,does that tell you anything.
got there at 6 pm first run 7:04pm, I was running 11.2 to 11.4 all night ,, weather at the track 90 degrees, at 9:45 when we left it was 80 degrees. jim

Very nice! What kind of 60s were you pulling? I am guessing hooking with your power to weight and the instant on torque of the 55k is very difficult.

They must be giving those Camaros away, wall to wall Camaros. I mean Camaros everywhere. Camaros as far as the eyes could see. Red Camaros, yellow Camaros, black Camaros. It was a Camaro love fest.

^Funny! Every kid in his new Camaro thinks he has the fastest car on the road. They have yet to learn what we all know. There is always someone faster. I do think it is our job to help educate them and to learn which end of the helmet goes forward. I have schooled a few new Camaros myself, Just not with quite the beatdown amx has.
