Question Transmission service cost

I would like to get the transmission fluid and filter changed and figured I would also have the engine oil and filter changed at the same time. A local MB service shop that is NOT a MB dealer said it would be $385 plus tax. I have not checked with an actual MB dealer but I guess it would be a higher price?

That would be te price (or thereabouts) for the tranny flush alone at the dealer.

E 63S Wagon Renntech, E55 Renntech, SL65, SL 55 030, ML, bunch of old ones--they come, they go...
One caveat...

just in case it's not included in the price, make sure you replace the electrical connector....these things don't re-install well, I always just put a new one on. Adds a few bucks, but soooo aggravating to have it leak.

That is a great deal! My local MB stealer wants $420 for trans, $166 for engine oil and $20 for that transmission electrical part. Think I will stick with my $385 deal.
