After speaking with C2Design and getting tired of keeping black clean...decided on a color change.
Either Palladium Silver or Artic White...plus I think the color change will highlight the wide body of the package vs. keeping it black. While I love my murdered out look...it's been played out. Back in 2007/08 when I started blacking out my E55 and then the SL65...it was a bit unique...now pretty played out.
Plus...Chris@C2 says we can get the SL65BS rear spoiler to add to the look...

They have 3 kits...I'm going for just the wide body...the 3rd kit is just a basically a BS replica. I like the middle version only because it isn't trying to mimic the BS completely...it just looks like an SL63 took a good amount of growth hormone and got yolked. It's not as wide as the BS kit but it still retains the SL63 rear (which I like better)...but I like BS rear spoiler so we will combining the best of both worlds.
I can retain my current Revozport rear diffuser...we are just going to refinish it in satin to match the rear wing, side vents, side mirrors, and front spoiler lip.
The wheels...man we have been going over and over so many styles...from super concave (DPE's), deep dish step up lips (Rotiform SJC's), to forged magnesium wheels...still not sure which way to go. Basically a style battle between C2 and me right now...I like the old school look of the Rotiforms SJCs but Chris is feeling it might make the look too dated... We will get there eventually...here are some pics of possible wheels choices...first 5 are the Rotiform SJC's...

Just had phone meeting on this build with Chris@C2Design...The car will get painted gloss black then wrapped in satin white with gloss CF trim.
Going with 20x13 rears...not sure of design yet...but polished inner and outer lip with gunmetal center with the largest concavity that can be made...per my request.
Decided to redo interior in Ferrari black hides with thicker deviated stitching in berry red.
The rear BS wing will be a replica in CF...so it won't raise at speed but will be in fixed position. It won't be set very high per my request...just enough to let you know it's ready to play.
I'm stoked.

I was at C2Design today...Big Brembo Brake kit coming...16" front rotors and 14" rears...

Insane build ... I would suggest against polished lip... white/cf exterior why not satin black face with glossy black lip... anyways best of luck, please keep us posted with the build

BTW, my little Tampa getaway, just turned into Riviera Maya instead. I may still try to make the Skins/Bucs game though. If that's the case...I'll need a car to borrow. Just leave the keys, to the one of your choice at the airport for me, in a locker. Don't forget to include a Post-It note of the parking space you left it at, for me.

Widebody Prior Design SL's are pretty cool cars, had a couple by the shop..
White one is their Widebody kit, and the Black one is the Black Series Kit.

The sooner you finish his the more of a chance I'd take the plunge. Once I take the plunge...I go all the way...so do him (Jody) right and you might have another car coming to you.

PS they've hit many crappy potholes, CA raods blow.. NOT 1 single dent/crack/ nothing they're MOST STURDY wheels I've ever owned.. Chris@FXautosports can/will hook u up! Knows perfect off sets etc..
