Who should I contact about a tune, CL65
I have a stock 2008 CL65 AMG and I want a tune. I live in Sweden in northern Europe so I must have the products shipped and I also need a good customers service via phone and email if there will be any problems.
My plans are ECU/TCU, a better IC-pump and a bigger/extra heatexchanger.
What company do you guys think that I should contact? What are the prices?
I have also heard that the coilpacks very often will go bad after a tune. Since I have a 2008 car I guess I have the new part number coils, but do you think there will be problems anyway? My car has the original coilpacks and has been driven 37500 miles. What is the cost of new coilpacks?
Do you also think that I should change the spark plugs at the same time? The plugs where changed two years ago at 27500 miles.

Some input would be nice. ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Also, how about separating the IC-system with an extra reservoir? Is that good?
Who sells a complete kit with the cooling mods (HE, new pump, splitted IC-system, etc)?

Eurocharged
Speedriven
Renntech.
What do you mean by separating the IC system ?
The AMG 55 cars fitted with the M113K engine share the Charge air cooling circuit with the engine cooling circuit. In this case it's a good idea to split the two systems.
It's not the case with the M275 engine family. The intake air cooling circuit is already separated.
Usually people who drag their cars or drive them hard ad a secondary front mounted heat exchanger and change the stock pump for better one, Johnson or meziere. Doing this is already good. You can also ad a trunk mounted reservoir.
There are a few members here with a great knowledge about cooling down the M275, there is also a dedicated thread about this subject.

Thanks for the replys!
DCMETRO22Z, what do you mean by o2? I have heard a lot of great things about Speedriven but I have also heard that they are hard to get in touch with. Thanks for the information about the IC-system.
RebelAuto, thanks for the tip!
cnterline, yes Kleemann is nere and they also have representatives here in Sweden. Do they offer any cooling upgrades?

I will talk to Kleemann here in Sweden (Falun) to see what they can offer.
Im not a do-it-your-self-man. When it comes to upgraded HE, new IC-pump and a complete bleed of the IC-system I will get help with the labour.
DanishViking and amok55amg: Heja Sverige! (Go Sweden) :-)

I have heard great things about Speeddriven, but apparently they have been difficult to get a hold of recently based on another thread here. That concerns me. A reputable company should never go AWOL.
I have heard good things about Eurocharged, but a recent dyno that was posted here showing their software effects on a SL65 has me baffled as the dyno just doesn't make an ounce of sense.
Renntech has been around for awhile and while their tune is the most expensive, it is also probably the most proven. They have been building ridiculous Benz cars since the 80's.
I just found out that ESS is coming to market with software for the V12 TT. ESS was a BMW only tuning company (software and supercharger systems), but apparently is breaking into the Benz game. I have their stage 2 software on my 335i and I love it. Best of all, you don't have to send them your ECU. They simply send you software on a USB drive along with an ECU programing cable. You download the software to your laptop, hookup the laptop to your car, and program your car through your laptop. The software VIN locks to your car and you can flash between tunes and stock whenever you want with the laptop.
Next time I pickup a V12 TT, I probably will go the ESS route.
