Too much red accenting, actually removes the classy balance of entire car. Makes it all look very Ricey INMOP though your car your mods etc.. You asked for opinions & this mine.. Though if you Ditch the RED MB emblms on grill/wheels/trunk & you can pull this look off nicely! It's all about balance..

Murder is alive & well, bright RED calipers is ALL you really need, the rest is overkill. I like the RED accent on your front bottom bumper & rear diffuser, rest is too much But enjoy it's your rig! Errr wait, the main problem here's the RED you're using looks like bright ORANGE, I see this now you enlarged your original post etc.

I'm with Thericker on this, but hey beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Also, I am a bit of a purist when it comes to mercs.

It was supposed to match the calipers factory red color. Reality is its more pinkish and over the winter when I'm not using it they will repaint those pieces.

I like what you did with the front and back bumper, Idk about the red MB star in the front though not really feeling that but the rest looks great

Everyone has their own opinion, and to me, taking a new Mercedes and making it look like a Nike sneaker for a teenager with all sorts of red markings is simply too much. Its a luxury sports car not a 350Z let it retain some class. Less is more, in a lot of cases just a nice set of wheels can make a new car set itself apart. Hey who am I to say? If that's what you like, then enjoy it, you have a very nice car.

Not so surprising. How many on Facebook even know what an R231 is, although i am sure they know it is an MB given the red tri-star. Would you agree that the MBW group is a bit more discriminating than the Facebook peeps?

FaceBook is infested w/kids.. But seriously, TRUE enthusiasts will be put off by such dramatic accents on otherwise stock MB etc.. And you asked for comments/opinions by posting pix here, NOT everyone will like it, or question it, or hate it.. We all have individual tastes & exact reason making a car suit YOUR personal taste is ALL that really matters etc..

Not really, thousands of people moved off mbworld to Facebook.
Many of the best track and club events are organized on Facebook.
Discriminating, ha, example, If I had a "65" I should know better than to put in my signature a 10.8 pass.
