SL65 to the dragstrip again, this time with Eurocharged tune

I know I posted in my "newbee" thread, but I figured I would start another thread, just to help anyone searching for 1/4 mile data. I finally got my act together and got down to Atco for a couple passes with my new Eurocharged tune. And that's all I got...2 passes. It was Chevy day last Saturday, and myself and my buddy with his E55 were the token Euro cars there. First pass, spun pretty bad, but managed a 11.26 at 125, 2nd pass didn't spin as bad and mustered a 10.99, 127. Only in the 10's by .002, but a 10sec pass is a 10sec pass. I'll take it. (For reference, my car ran 11.81 at 117ish on street tires stock, with a 1.82 60ft.) This time I had some really really used drag radials, BFG TA 275-35-18's, and launched at 1500-2000rpm's or so and eased it out, not going full throttle until the 2nd gear shift, and it still hazed the tires a bit. I should have done a better burnout both times, but..hey, I've been a bike guy for 25yrs. Woulda coulda shoulda...I did race in "dynomode" and had no issues at all, other than the usual roll bar popping up on launch. I did some more searching here, as I was curious, and there is another member here that has/had the same mods and we ran nearly the exact same times, so pretty consistant information for anyone looking for it.

Time slips and Vids below. Videos are a little long as another friend taped both of us racing.

That's awesome! Gratz on 10's w/just tune & sum beat Ta' sh_it drag radials.. Get some lighter 17"s on brand new Hoosiers & in similar or better DA (BTW what was the D/A on these runs?) & your 60'? Judging from your healthy Trap you're in reach of 10.7x-10.8x @ w/low 60'

Temps were 50-52deg and DA was -400 or so.

Been trying to attach my timeslips, but it keeps saying that they are attached in my first post, but they are not there?

Nice 60' in Run 2! "PS I could be wrong" but I'm pretty sure Racehorses CL65 w/EC Tune & drag tires only ran 10.79 1/4 & the main difference vs your runs was the air, D/A was -Negative- 1500

Yep..better air and better wheels and tires and he is launching at 2500 or so. I am not that brave yet. These are my first 2 passes with the flash. I had no idea what it was gonna do. I think with new DR"S, I can get there as I am. TOTALLY different car with the extra 120ft/lbs. Neither pass was full throttle off the line and I wasn't full throttle until 2nd gear. I think with good tires and a proper burnout, a 1.5 is in the cards and a more respecatable time...

Tires were fine

Burnouts not so fine

Time was AWESOME!

Your 60' is right where it should be with your power level. Be VERY careful chasing a 1.5X 60' in "that" car...very few have without issue

Nice to see the tune pay off so well. Dropping .8 is huge. Congratulations on joining the 10 second club. Hope I'll be doing it again next summer but in the CL, not Lightning, this time.

Hey, congratulations again. lol... I think if you have loaded the same image in another thread it doesn't allow you to reload, I don't know if there is a way to add it here. I usually add a letter or number to the title of the attachment and it becomes something different.

As for my car, I ended up getting a reflash the same day as you and since my PB and it does feel a little meaner. I am impressed with your trap and wonder if there is even a tad more to gain with a lower 60 ft 128MPH???lol. Pretty crazy since we are both running stock intercoolers with just a supplemental HE. Blasting these cars out of the hole is a lot of fun but it all comes at a cost. Sticky tires 850+ ft/lbs. of toque on a 4650 lb car is a recipe for disaster. I want to quit while I'm ahead but this weather has been tempting. Also I thought there were issues with 17" wheels clearing the rear rotors? Is there anything special that needs to be done?

I was told to try to use the older 17" wheels. but not sure if they will fit the 65..with the bigger calipers and all. I have 18' wheels for the back..run my 19's on the front...

Tried changing the name of the file..no go...

Time slips here..post #37...
