I have been giving some strong thought to picking up one of these cars. Car in question no longer has the windscreen, am important and necessary piece for coastal driving.
Anyone know what they cost? I don't think I can check with any dealers until Monday.

I've seen them for anywhere from $120 to $500. Check ebay.

My 65 didn't come with one..don't seem to need it...but I have seen them on ebay for a couple hundy...

If you don't necessarily NEED to be OE, you could easily fabricate one for a few $, using the black mesh products that are available at many hardware stores (ACE, etc.) along with some velcro for fastening. I've done this on my '73 SL, and my Alfa Spider Veloce, where no OE or aftermarket wind stop was available.

thanks for the feedback guys. I did find some on ebay. Prices all over the place but 3-400 seemed average.

Good luck finding one. I think the prices are ridiculous. How many of these are just sitting in garages collecting dust? I never received one with my car. So, being the third owner I bet the original owner had it in his garage. The ones on Ebay are constantly re-listed. They are just fishing for a sucker.

This is likely true. Mine sits in my garage never been on my car but, I don't think I would sell it as I would want to pass it on to the next owner someday.
