All,
I have decided that my time with the SL is drawing to a close and the promise of a new project has me considering a sale.

I will post a few pics with my phone but in the meantime.....

-100 octane Speedriven ECU tune (appx 730 hp)
-Speedriven TCU tune
-Aquamist twin nozzle methanol injection (set up at 20% in the tune)
-TWO intercooler radiators in series with TWO intercooler pumps in series
-Renntech DLM including Samsung tablet
-New 20x9 and 20x10.5 Rohana wheels with new tires
-Fresh rotors and pads at all four corners
-MBarts rear toe links
-Custom lower link arms
-Kmac bushings front and rear
-Battery maintainer
-Custom impact rated car cover
-Wind screen with case
-Spare set of Brabus monoblock IV wheels and tires. Condition at 85% for both, no TPMS
-Fresh transmission service from dealer
-Fresh oil change (always do my own)
-Plugs changed in the last 10k miles
-Two keys, all books and a packet from MBUSA showing all identification numbers

I am sure there is more but I cannot think of it right now. The car needs nothing except a new owner. Current mileage is just over 62k and KBB puts the car at about $49k in value. I will send/post more pics if there is interest, I am asking $47,500 for the car with all that is listed and I will let the brand new 2013 custom aluminum trailer go with it with all tie downs for an extra $8500. The trailer includes ramps, jump ramps, aluminum e-track, weighs 1600 lbs and has a GW of 10k.

Also posting in classifieds,

Regards,
Eddie

Well, the car is silver....my phone will not resize pics so it will have to wait until I get home.

I also forgot to mention the remainder of the Autosource Platinum Warranty which is about 2-1/2 years left or up to 100k miles. The transfer has to be approved by the plan administrator and I will pay all fees. I already have the transfer request form.

Year and options?

Looks like the warranty does not cover the issues most likely to go wrong with the SL. It does not cover the ABC suspension/components, coil packs, idler pulleys, convertable components, or even head gaskets. That's really too bad.

What year is the SL?

Yeah, I suppose that is important!

Car is a 2005, has Distronic and Parktronic, no Pano roof. Don't if there were many other options for these cars....navigation/multi cd/satellite radio....

Well, it is better than nothing and Mercedes told me that they did not even offer a plan for the SL65.

On the bright side I do have a set of new idler pulleys on the shelf in the shop that go with the car.......

Here are some pics I have pulled off of my phone. We had a foot of snow last night so it will be a bit before some more outside shots can be taken.

Have you installed a new ABC pump and how many lines have been replaced? When were the Rotors changed? How about the engine mounts?

I bought the car with 30k on the clock and had the ABC system flushed first thing, and I have replaced the fluid twice since then with filter changes. I have not had any substantial leaks since owning the car so no lines have been replaced. Front rotors less than 1500 miles ago and rear rotors maybe 100 miles ago. Engine mounts exhibit no leakage or damage, I have never replaced them since buying the car.

Well, like most things it seemed like a good idea at the time......I make several trips a year to southern TN from VA it is a good way to get the car there without putting the miles on it.

I did that once so far......not a great ROI, I will admit.

Also, the trailer is so light that I am well under my wife's ML550's towing capacity and it looks totally badass.....

Mind if I ask how you tied down your car on the trailer? I need to trailer mine on an upcoming trip and there is hardly anything under the car to strap to. thx

GL with the sale, beautiful car!
