Exclamation 2015 Corvette Z06 Convertible, pics, what do you guys/girls think?

With the full suite of aftermarket tuner bolt-on's and a proper tune, how high do you guys think the numbers will go? 850+HP? You know there will immediately be a few upgraded and larger supercharger options available also.....this much aggression in a convertible with probably low maintenance and running costs for around $120,000? options options....golden age for sure....then the Z06X is supposed to come out a year later, which is basically supposed to be a black series version of the Z06 coupe...then the ZR1....could there even be later a ZR1-X? Good God Almighty...

Running into one of these on the open highway with tuner bolt-on's and retuned ECU is going to be a serious race even for the fastest German and Italian cars....

I like it better than that hard top, but still not near as good looking as the previous model, too hard of lines for me.

Car looks good but it is a little busy with all hose sharp lines. MB has done the same thing with some of its models.

Really like the front better than the last model, but overall it's too busy and the taillights just scream plastic. Very Camaro. Not sure what to make of that black plastic trim on the front fender wheel arch. Or those HUGE side markers front and rear.
Interior is finally getting better though

Overall very aggressive but not very classy. EDIT: Is that actually a see-through rear wing? That would have to go!

+1
every time i see one on the road from a distance first thought is ... Ferrari.
its like a mix of Ferrari and LFA.

I like that they finally tried to do something decent, i appreciate the performance, but styling is too borrowed in my opinion.

Totally agree and I will add that the interior still looks cheap. However, it might look much better if it were an all black interior. The tacky plastic add ons ruin it for me. I bet it is a great performer though.

I can't see where you are coming from on the interior. It is covered in leather, beautifully executed with very little plastic. Easily on par with any competitor at twice the price. Agree on the exterior plastics but when placed together it makes a menacing beast. Just what a Z06 should be....

I think performance- wise the car will be amazing for the money.

I think if I was 18 I would be gaga over it. But... I am not and I agree that the exterior is too busy.

I see you're from Huntington, me too, (Huntington bay) we should get together and do a few pulls if you're into it. I have a CTSV now and running on 93 octane as opposed to E85 last year. We have a few Huntington guys that go out and do pulls every so often. PM me and we'll get together.

Z06 is gonna be a beast but not sure that I like the convertible.

It looks to me like a stocker that has undergone massive appearance mods. Not bad, but a bit overdone for me. I am not sure a factory car should look like it has been modded even if it is a Z06.

I think the interior is miles above the prior models and is befitting its price range. No complaints here other than the nav/touchscreen - Reminds me of Windows 95 graphics.

The body components I don't like maybe quickly solved with aftermarket parts and some paint.

Post The Z06's have not hit the street yet

The 2015 Z06 has not hit the street yet...maybe when we get to see one right next to us in black or yellow it will grow on us, especially with a nice set of aftermarket wheels and a couple cool mods....

Can't even imagine what the Z06X and the ZR-1 are gonna be like....
