Potentially time for a coilpack change - which cylinders are which code?
Stopped at a friend's house today, and when leaving about 30 minutes later I turned on the car and it felt like if I was in an old school V8 muscle car - sounded pretty good, until I realized that my V12 is supposed to be smooth as butter. Plus that check engine light flashing in my eye.
Full codes:
P0300
P0305
P0307
Pending codes:
P0300
P0305
P0307
P0309
P0312
P0308
P0310
So misfires on 5,7,8,9,10,12.
Are the banks 1-6, 7-12, or odd number/even number, or some other combination? Just trying to see if it's one coil pack or the other (or both, hopefully not both).
I did read on here somewhere about the ignition module on top, hopefully it's not that.
After restarting, the car seemed to drive ok, but it felt like most of the power was coming from the V12 N/A and not the turbos - didn't really feel that turbo rush. Could've been the heat as well since it was a hot day here.
Regardless, just looking for some insight on how the cylinders are setup (are 1-6 on the driver, or odd on the driver, or something else, etc). Thanks guys.

Alberto,
Change them together for sure! I just did both of mine at the same time on my CL600. Grabbed the OEM units from FCPEuro.com as they carry genuine MB Parts. They have the newest version part numbers as well.
Also, ALL their parts have a lifetime warranty, yep, lifetime! Great prices, fast shipping too, they have treated me really well.
Let me know if you have questions installing them!
Regards,
Marc

He is right I do carry them and warranty them for life, if you are throwing plugs at the car, I have the plug set discounted as a set of 24 for $229.99

Both packs and plugs were just changed on mine in past 3 months. If you change one it stresses the other to failure very quickly.
If car has anywhere near 40K on it change the plugs and I would do both coil packs if one is dead.
When mine went out it drove and sounded like what you describe above.
