2012 E63 AMG
The 2007/2008 SL55 had larger 2 piece front rotors to go along with the new for then 6 piston front calipers. These superseded the 2003-2006 SL55 single piece rotors with 8 piston front calipers.
Buying the rotors at MB is expensive, you can find OEM at a reputable parts supplier for a lot less.

I did go through the dealer, they gave me a 10% discount but with tax brought the price back up to right under 1K ea
I did put them on myself so i saved there....
It does pay to shop around....

$700 is cheap... as stated above msrp is $1000.00 ea.
I guess you could put a cheaper 1 piece rotor on....
