Anyone know what wheel this is?
I've looked everywhere hoping to figure out what wheels these are. The VIN on the car says it came with 19" AMG double spoke, which these are not. I checked ebay, google, etc.
Any help is appreciated.

I think they were mostly used on 2006 and later SL55s (depending on market) and some other lines as well.
here is a thread that discusses them

And below are the "specs" for the SL version (see attached)
Hope that helps,
Chris

It looks like someone has "CHROMED" a set of the newer "style III" wheels.
I think they were mostly used on 2006 and later SL55s (depending on market) and some other lines as well.

I am not normally a fan of Chrome wheels for various reasons (not the least of which is that the plating can obfuscate cracks and is why I have heard that AMG does not make chrome plated versions), but ... they seem to compliment your car.
Given the high weight of original wheels, I have looked to the aftermarket for lighter alternatives. Not trying to talk you out of rebuilding this set, but it is a golden opportunity to consider alternatives. If you do go to replace one of your wheels, do cheek your actual offsets and the offset of any potential replacement as there are multiple examples that look similar (25 and 30 for the front and 28 and 31 for the rear at the least).
I recently had a set of forgestars custom made for my 2003 SL55 and the fit and finish is great, the weight is reasonable for rotary-forged wheels and the total price was about $1600 for all four including shipping.
Cheers,
Chris

well I know that. But its like having a shelby gt500 and having boss 429 emblem on the side. Its not like it should be. Especially when people like we are here, on a mercedes web site see it, we know it isnt right. If you look in the forsale lists youll find plenty of the sl65 wheels. they are very common. But if it were me, Id buy a aftermarket wheel they is more updated.

I respectfully disagree and I doubt anyone else feels the same way you do. Sorry I'm not going to run out and spend thousands of dollars on wheels because one person on a forum feels like this is rebadging my car.

2007 SL55 AMG
These wheels were on the catalog for multiple cars from factory (Mostly for European orders). However these came factory on 06-08 CLS55/CLS63s and 07-08 SL55s in the US. I'm not particularly a fan of the chrome, but I am am quite fond of the wheel style. But as Chris (latemodel21) mentioned, these wheels are quite heavy on the scale and there are some nice alternatives out there.
