2006 SL55 with 030 Performance Package
That would make it Diamond Silver or Pewter. I have Diamond silver, but it changes so much I could not tell from the pix above, Maybe its pewter. but I think it is Diamond Silver under special lights.
As you can tell I am still trying to figure out what color to order the SL55 in Brilliant Silver 1st choice, Diamond 2nd, and Pewter or Orian Blue tied for 3rd. The safe choice is Brilliant Silver, Any thoughts are welcome

I just got back from MB Manhattan...(somebody clipped by mirror)
They were just taking delivery on another SL 500...still had some of the covering on it...This one was Black with Sport Package and two-toned Charcoal interior...absolutely beautiful car!!! Very aggressive looking...very sharp. I had not seen the two-tone before...only straight charcoal...was very very nice....I tried to swap my ML for it but no go!!
:p ....MB Manhattan now has over 500...SL 500's on reserve...two years production....and now just over 50 SL 55's.

Is a two tone interior an option or is it related to which color interior you choose. I think the ash (grey) is two tone but I thought the charcoal interior is a single color. Anyone know for sure?

the Launch Edition was Monochrome Charcoal Interior....My understanding is that the standard interiors are all Two-toned.
the car I saw was Dark Charcoal...on dash and upperdoor rear deck trim and some parts of the seats..lower dash, door and seat cushions were a slightly lighter charcoal. Berry...is two-toned with Charcoal on all upper surfaces..ie dash, doors and rear decking. Ash is also two-toned Dark and light ash in same areas...Darker upper surfaces...lighter lower. this supposedly follows the same pattern in the AMG version but with the Nappa leather and more embellishment.
