Can anyone help with the following please:
The locking button on my drivers side door (keyless) doesn't work any more. The button on the passenger door is ok, and locks all of the doors.
The door unlocks normally.
Thanks...

His question is that the button on the driver side doesn't work anymore, but does on the passenger side. So would the cause be the button on the driver door or something else with the door handle on the driver's side?
I think the OP means it unlocks normally with the key or the keyfob, but not with the keyless button on the driver side door handle.

You are referring to the keyless go lock button on the exterior of the car / door handle, correct?
Peak in at the instrument cluster while pressing the exterior door handle keyless-go lock button. Does the screen say anything, I.e. "key not detected?"
If so the keyless go isn't picking up the key card on the driver's side exterior.
If not, it's probably the button. Is the rubber seal torn up or in good shape?
Mercedes only sells a complete door handle assembly

Thanks for all the replies.
To confirm:-
- Locking from the passenger side door is ok except for the minor inconvenience of walking around the car every time!
- There is no message from the instrument cluster.
- There is no obvious damage to the button, seal or handle.
So I guess there is an electrical fault inside the button and a new handle might be the solution.
I have dismantled some doors in the past and found it to be difficult to do without breaking lots of small trim clips etc. Any experience on this topic?
Or is it simply easier to abandon the keyless card and use the conventional key (which has an unlock button)??
Thanks again...
