Safe front lift point

I am wondering if this is a safe point to use a floor back to lift the whole front up? Doesn't look too sturdy and it's the only exposed part of the bottom shields.

I planned to put 2 ton jacks on each side behind the front wheels where the rubber circles are.

Thanks!

You always jack on the rubber jacking pads. I use 2 jacks for the front or 2 for the rear or 2 on the same side. If you are looking for stand support points, take all the shields off and decide if you can find a good spot

On our SL65 we have a rubber pad in the middle by the engine, not sure if your SL63 has it or not.

my 63 doesn't appear to have any rubber pads in the front or rear centerline. All I have is what these metal braces that join together with a bolt in the picture above. I wonder if a rubber pad used to be there and fell off?

I'm interested in this answer too...my 2004 SL55 looks exactly like this!
Is this the safe center lift point?

My E63 has a conspicuous black center lift point, my C63 had the same. I've been all over underneath my SL63 on a lift, it does not have a similar center lift point. Not saying that you can't put a jack somewhere in that area, but I would be very careful and inspect underneath first. Personally I just use the jack pads with my floor jack, and support with jack stands where the control arm meets the subframe.
