Eurocharged or Kleemann Mid-Length Headers
I have been looking into mid-length headers and the offerings from Eurocharged and Kleemann appear to be very similar. Has anyone had the opportunity to personally inspect these two brands of headers and, if so, were you able to see any differences in the quality of craftsmanship or materials used? Between EC and Kleemann, which seems to be the better product?

I've heard good things from both but make sure to use a quality flex pipe going down to your custom x pipe or whatever you got planned as they have been know to crack.
Or see if you can find used pair of MBH. They aren't cheap initially but have the best build quality by far and to my knowledge have never had cracked one on SL's. I believe they also been proving more than few time through the years that there gains are real. Not that the other aren't, but MBH is always the highest net HP gains.

they are the same header, but kleeman offers the correct downpipe for the sl55 while the eurocharged one is for the e55. you will need to have a custom downpipe made for the sl55 if you go with eurocharged. i wouldnt waste my time with either though. go mbh and be done with it. they cost more, but they will make twice the power and you won't have to replace them ever again, unlike the mids that will likely eventually crack. while you can use flex pipe to help that issue the flex pipe will eventually collapse itself and need replaced. you also lose power with the flex pipe making the whole thing less appealing.

Hey Skylolow,
Finally getting around to ordering headers. Do you still feel strrongly that the MBH setup is worth the added costs (nearly $2k)? Also, did you add high flow cats to your setup? I'm looking at the Kooks High Flow Green cats to include in my install.
Thanks
Bill

I ran kleeman mids on my clk55. If I were to do it on my sl I’d run them with the green high flow cats without hesitation. The mbh and those cats will cost you over 3k...
