Question about hissing Above back compartment
So I just picked up my new to me 2003 Sl55 AMG with 40k miles. I drove it 3 hours home yesterday and about 2 hours in I started to hear a hiss on the passenger side rear storage box up too near the roof. Sounds like an air leak to me. Also found a 20 amp fuse in the cup holder. So after doing some research I’m leaning towards a pse leak somewhere ? Just got the car and want to fix this ASAP because from what I have read that pretty much controls all doors locks and roof correct. If anyone has any ideas please help. Thanks a lot

There is a pneumatic line to each of the rear storage boxes, but if either line were leaking I don't think you would hear anything from it while you are driving. I would expect to only hear sound when you have just locked or unlocked the car.

No seats are not turned on. If you put the key in P1 or p2 it does not make any noise only if it’s running. Not sure where abc valve block would be but I will have to look into that. Every time I start the car now I hear it.

With the ignition on the seats are unconditionally supplied with air pressure.
The rear ABC valve block is located in the fender in front of the driver-side rear wheel.

The sound is coming from the right side of the car rear and sounds like it’s higher up above the storage compartments. So it is not the valve block then because that is in the front of the car.

Hey Guys,
I have noticed an electrical buzz/hiss coming from the back, im a new owner and will need to check speaker locations. BUT i have noticed it there even with the headunit turned off.
You sure its an air noise and not electrical?
