Hello guys
I am happy about the delivery of my new silver SL, last week Friday. After driving two days - there are 800 km on the clock. The sound is incredible even at low revs. Driving comfort is better than expected - even with the 19 inch wheels. Consumtion is about 14 liters / 100 km (running in period on National roads - cruising only).
I am sure to be one of the first happy owners here in France
here are some pics ..........

and here the "old one" with the new one
wish you all a nice Sunday evening
kind regards from France

Beautiful Car!
Congratulations. It's beautiful!!! I can't wait for delivery of my SL55. Is that the Silver Arrow or Brilliant Silver color?

Thanks to all of you for the nice congrats to my new SL.
Here are some new - about how the car is, in general.....
The colour is the same as I had on my SL500 (silver #744) with the new Nano painting so it is shown as "C744". Inside leather #581. So nobody in my neighborhood is able to recognise the change of the SL :p
Interiour is of higher quality than my "old" SL ... Alcantara on the roof, leather almost everywhere. Engine is awesome, exiting, cool .... ( i do not know enough English words to describe this - it's like 10 :v starting to shout).
Ride-comfort; is better than expected, even there are 19 inch rims with /35 and /30 tyres on it. It is really smoother and less noisy than the SL500. The only changings which have to be done fast are:
1) steering wheel - to Soft-touch AMG wheel
2) carbon trim parts - cause the original are looking really cheap
3) V-max delimiter.... (even I am not driving very fast - but this limiter is
)
The rest of the car, will remain original - I love to drive original cars. I do not know anything about lowering - but it should be "useable for everyday".
Videos will be made on the next weekend, when I will join our club at SPA (Belgium) and then they should be available on our website.
Kind regards from France
(no I am not of French origin)

I was planning on showing pics of Shank's SL with the Kleemann lowering module (which has a perfect drop to me), but I couldn't find the pics so here's a pic of a Kleemann CL instead (which presumably also has the lowering module; at least it looks like it from the pic)
