New MB Phone

Order a new '05 SL55 to replace my '03 yesterday. September build for October delivery. Dealer informed me of new MB phones which should be available in the next 30 days, one of which is the Motorola V600, which is a sweet phone. It's about time. I have hated the V60 that I have been stuck with for the past several years.

Alternatives

He gave me a sheet from MB laying out the carrier-phone overview. For the GSM phones, they will have it for Cingular, AT&T and T-Mobile and will use the Motorola V600. For the other carriers, which will be CDMA and TDMA, the phone will be a Motorola V710.

Could you scan and post that sheet in order to view all the phone options. I did not recall the v710

i dont know how old that sheet is, but cingular discontinued the V600 as of 2 weeks ago do to some 850Mhz problems. if you look at their web site you will see that its not on there anymore. there is a replacment that will come out in about 2 mothes called the v551, and the only difference is that the c551 came take video clips too.

Trading Up

Still haven't got the '05 yet. It has a 3rd week in September build date. They did take the '03 last week. They had a buyer so they wanted the car. Since they had a buyer, they were able to give me more than the whoelsale price. I got $100K for the car which had 6,200 miles on it. So for the next two months, I'll drive my G55 until my new one arrives.
