Midsection will need to be welded together using the included "downpipe" professional installation recommended.
Another option to consider are long tube headers. I put MBH on my SL55 after extensive research and couldn't be happier with the sound (no drone) and contribution to additional power, about 30-35 RWHP.
Cost is expensive, count on $5k with a tune and professional installation. Quality is unmatched.
Thank you, for the update.. I've been thinking of some mods to my 55, your stage 1 package with the 76mm pulley. I've been debating about mid-length headers, my goal is 620-640bhp (crank) I figured I'd be close to around 600 bhp with the stage 1. Mine is an 07 so, larger TB and 510 bhp. I'm guessing mid-length headers would put me over the 600 bhp (crank) figure?
