just bought an 08 SL55 and I have been on a steep learning curve having found this forum.
These are the rims, does anyone have any idea of what they are, I haven't been able to find any matches on the internet.
One has a small bend in it, and I am deciding about fixing it, I do have another set of rims available.

For some reason I was thinking it was white with charcoal interior. That would have been a unicorn. But it still looks awesome in silver, and I see it's highly optioned. Nice whip. Thanks for pics.
I like the Ferrari in the garage. My SL 55 is my all time favorite car, and I have had 77 in my 73 years. Still have it and always will.

I brought the SL55 home late Saturday night, didn't drive it Sunday due to crappy wet and cold weather. But I have driven it every day after work this week, and I am definitely falling in love.
The 550 and Hellcat in the garage are going to be neglected.
And for sure I have spent 4 hours a day going through the forums for a roadmap to keep the SL55 running well.
There is so so much information, but I know I need a laptop, a scanner and software to find and hopefully fix the problems as they arise.
Hi Spencer, yeah sounds like we are in the same boat, let's do our best to keep them afloat!
First on my list, due to the high cost of fixing the ABC, is a method to get the car in "rodeo" mode so I can flush the ABC fluid and change the filter. I think it can be done by raising and lowering the car manually but I'm worried that it can take a very long time that way and I hesitate to run the motor that long.
There is much to learn about diagnostic hardware and software.
FOXWELL NT530 has been recommended for a scanner.
And C3 part "D" has been recommended since the cars are older, I have also heard the C4 enables coding? ( not sure what that applies to)
If possible I would like to display tire pressure as the Canadian cars can with a pressure for each tire.

Soon the snow will be gone, the clocks will move ahead and we start to see the hawks nest again, and daylight until 6:30!

Ones you have completed your ABC flush, you can add an optional ABC magnetic partical filter.
