ECU tuning cable question
Hey everyone-
I purchased an ECU tune from VRP recently. The cable is on its way and wanted to ask the forum if anyone has used this tune and if so do you have any "file uploading" suggestions or recommendations. I'll be doing the transfer myself but am a little nervous considering what I'm playing with. There will be instructions, but actual experience is worth more than the directions imo. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

I would also hook up consumer batter to a tender. One time tune took close to an hour…people also disconnect the engine fan up front but I don’t think that is needed

Disconnect the engine fan if you can. That's where a lot of the power draw is from.
100% use a charger on the consumer battery that's capable of putting out 20A minimum.
Make sure your laptop is plugged in to the wall
turn off all power saving / sleep stuff on the laptop.
