Exclamation Seat Belts

How big of a job is it to replace the two seat belts. Mine are soiled ; have tried to clean but not a lot of luck.

Just sold my '11 Porsche TurboS cab for an '03 SL55!
Great question. Mine are Berry Red and soiled too, and I can't seem to clean them. Any suggestions short of replacement? These are the worst part of my interior.
Maybe I could dye them black??

I'm going to try one more time to clean them. If that does not work I will try dying them. l

I used an OxyClean solution on my stained seat belts. Several applications and it made a huge difference.

Bahnstormer..........Thanks, good idea.
Did you remove them an soak them or just sponge it on an let it sit?

I just heated a cup of water in the microvave and poured it into a small tupperware container. Mixed in some OxyClean, took a rag and kept dipping and wiping down the seat belts in place. Solution will get dirty after a few passes and then dump it out. Let seat belts dry several hours and keep repeating the process until you're happy with the results. The hotter you can stand the water the more effective the cleaning solution will be. Gloves would probably be a good idea although I didn't use them. Best of luck.

This worked out pretty well and just as Bahnstormer described, thanks again.
I say pretty well, because while they cleaned up a lot, I could then see that the Drivers side is sun faded. Mine are Berry red. And, this car had previously been woman owned, so lots of lotion/hand cream soiling and some damage too. But a big improvement. Now what I wonder is weather I could remove the strap on that side and turn it inside out so the fading and residual staining would be underneath??

How difficult is it to reverse the belt I assume you have to take part of the seat apart?

Don't know. Haven't removed the belt or disassembled the seat.
