'05 SL65 Anniversary Edition!
For anyone who has not had a chance to see the SL65 in person and is in the So.Cal. area, we just got our 2nd car. This one is the SL Anniversary Edition with the Silver Arrow paint and it has Carbon Fiber trim on the inside. It is truely a great looking car and the CF on the inside really adds a nice finishing touch! I will take some pics today and post them when I get into the office this morning!

There is one on ebay right now but the interior doesn't have the carbon fiber. Is it in place of all the wood? That would look 100 times better. The wood look is kinda getting old to me.

That silver looks very close to brilliant silver, is there much difference side by side? Is the anniversary package also an option on the 55 or just the 65?

My S600 is brilliant silver, and I'd say the difference is subtle but noticeable side-by-side. The Silver Arrow color is slightly darker and significantly more metallic. This shows up particularly in indirect light, for example light overcast weather.
They're both gorgeous colors for the car. You wouldn't go wrong with either.

is the Silver arrow paint the same paint on the SLR? My friend said when he saw the SLR in person the car had some sort of 3D look in the paint like it had multiple layers.

we have a 50th anniv. SL65 and the paint to me is very similar to brilliant, but as treynor said, much more metallic. After a detail, the car is very bright, much brighter, in the sunlight.
