New SL55 owner....

Hi all, I am proud to say that I am now the new owner of a 2004 SL55 AMG. I can't wait, it should be on truck for transport tomorrow. The question I have is, do any of you have pictures of a silver SL with these 20" Maya's? I like these wheels and also the Kleemann TS-6 wheels. What do you think about those Maya's on an SL? Thanks for the input!

Yeah the TS-6's look a bit better, but they don't look as aggressive as those mayas.

How deep is that lip!?

You will need to put spacers for those Maya as they wont clear your brake calipers. IMO, Kleemann TS-6 is a better choice in terms of fitment and look.

Hi all, just to clarify I work at Evolution Motorsports, not EVOSport. Similar names, similar operations, different company Anyhow, I myself am 100% set on the Kleemann wheels in 20X12 rear and 20X9.5 front. However, my wife doesn't necessarily like those wheels. We will just have to compromise somewhere in the middle.

I got an absolutely smoking deal on this car, it is a 2004, 4900 miles, doesn't have cooled seats, panorama sunroof, distronics, remote start. Does have everything else. I paid $94,500. I think that is an amazing deal, how about you?

My SL600 has 20 inch BBS LM's. Not exactly what you are looking at, but similar:

awesome wheels choicing. sorry for the misassumption. i have very high regard for Evolution Motorsports. congrats on your win at Excellence magazine's "high roller shootout". your guys' 996tt's are crazy, and always one step ahead of the other tuners. don't know of any other tuner running 900+hp on a Turbo, or who has produced as many 640+hp Turbos.

Thank you! We take a lot of pride in our 900+ HP company car. It is a great errand car. We are actually trying to get it in the C&D Supertuner shootout. Hopefully it will all workout.

I'm pretty sure the widest you can fit on the rear of that car is an 11" wheel. We just fitted some ApexForged wheels last week and 11.5" wouldnt work. Just an FYI>

Just my .02...
The wheels on the SL65 would be awesome....where the center is a light grey.

But, I know some people won't like it since it is an AMG product and not considered an aftermarket enhancement....
then again some people will think that it is an AMG and anything BUT an AMG product is considered sacrilegious

Go with what YOU LIKE.
