I sat in this car today and it is a great car. I am considering trading my 2005 E55 for this car. What do you all think???

Always more fun to add than replace.

no options? If so, seems expensive.

Like doctodd33 mentioned, it doesn't list any options .. keyless go? panoramic roof? etc.

I don't like the wheels either. It just doesn't look good on sliver.

What do you know about DC Motors? Good? Bad?

I just noticed its a SL500 not a SL55 as you believe it is .. in which case, I wouldn't pay $109k for it. Sorry. For a little more you can have yourself a brand spank'n new 2005. Heck, maybe for $109k you can have yourself a new 2005 [depending on options, taxes, etc.]

no...it looks like an SL55. In the other pics you can see AMG engine, quad exhaust....only missing the V8 KOMPRESSOR side badges. I think they either incorrectly listed it as an SL500 or those pics arent all of the same car and/or they made it look like an SL55.

2005 E55
It's a SL55 for sure.

The car is a 2004 SL55 with 3K miles on it. It has Keyless go, Nav, and I do not know what else. I will look at sticker today and repost.

I sold the owner of DC-Motors his home about 6 years ago. After close of escrow I took him and his family to the Ritz Carlton for a 2 night stay in the Presidential suite. After that we have been great friend. He never buys story cars. NEVER! Doug is a striaght shooter. No BULL. I know what he paid for the car and what I can buy it for. He will only add about $1500 to what he is in it for to price for me. $98K range.

Those wheels suck. There were at his shop and he installed them on this car. I will ask him to put some new Asantis on it today!! then I will take new pic.

CAR SHOW

Dc-Motors and LoomisProperty will be holding a car show in the oc area. I am setting date soon and will post more as it comes. We plan on giving away more then $5,000 in contest money. Dc-Motors will bring his current exotic car inventory. All will be for sale and available for test drives with his sale people. I am working with city of Anaheim now am trying to get a 1-2 hour window and get street shut down for some 1/8 mile runs or a auto cross course in the move theater parking lot?????

Great point and one to ponder for sure.

I hear that but I really want a Gallardo or 360 modena or SL65 So I have been keeping my E55 so I can get one of those and still have a work car the E55. Up till now I have had no where to park it. But we move in 30 days and new house has a 4 car garage and I am adding on to it to make it an 8 car garage. I hope my car collection can now start. Or ask my friend at DC motors to let me store a modena or lambo or bentley for him. Ha HA HA!!!!

His car lot is my dream garage.
