SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Need to decide 02' or 03' SL55?

02' SL 500
Need to decide 02' or 03' SL55?
I'm thinking of trading my 02' SL500 for SL55 and I'm wondering if there's any significant difference between the 02 and 03 models. Any thoughts?

Umm..
I would go with the 03 SL55 if I had to pick between 'a' 02 SL55 and a 03 SL55.
Simply going on the fact that I do not know of a 02 SL55 anywhere.
But if you find one, pick one up for me as well.

In The States the new body style SL55 did not come out until 2003.

There may be some confusion here. The US obsession with model years means the "model year" and year of production are often not the same. So an 03 SL55 was produced from around August 2002 to around July 2003, the factory vacation period marking the changeover. A 2002 SL55 will have been produced before August 2002 and the main market for these early SL55s was Germany. Because of the complexity of the car, a "2003" MY car is probably a better bet.

SL500 2003 previous/ E350 2007 actually
I also recomend 2003 because was the second production and they could fix some of the problems that the car cauld has at that time. Also verify the recall of that car if they get all the services.
