What are the specs for this chip in the SL63 with Performance Pkg/557 HP; 664 Torque? Thx.
With the performance package you will still get the name numbers since its all in the tuning. The people without the performance package will gain more than you. However even with the performance package and the Renntech tune you will still be 669 HP and 734 LB-FT range.
So it looks like this chip is stronger in low RPM, but is ultimately passed at high RPM. Does this affect the top-end speed? Not that I'd be driving that fast, but curious. Also, how does this chip/tune affect CPO warranty and what's the risk to engine, turbos, etc, by making this set-up change? Thx.

Well yes, and most noticeable in the mid rage RPM too. It does not effect top speed, in fact it removes the top speed limiter on most applications. This does not effect or void any Mercedes/CPO warranty.

It voids the warranty. And yes Benz has to prove the tune was the cause of failure sort of. They will just deny the claim if it’s catastrophic.
By reverting to stock tune, the ECU and can buses log all the reflashes and it’s an automatic flag. And please don’t tell me renntech has a warranty deal with benz.

You are welcome to have your own opinion on this, and if your warranty was ever voided by your dealer from a Renntech tune for something that was not caused by neglect, your fault, or other mods, you have been had. I have had cars tuned by Renntech for over 12 years, never had a single warranty denial on my cars or my customers.
