Performance enhancement?
Dear All:
I just got a SLk230(99) , just wondering what should I add to enchance the performance? (speed, handling)?

Be gentle jay_slk...B-612 is corresponding from Hong Kong and the english language can be one of the most challenging to learn. I suspect that B-612 meant 'enhancement'.

Modding cars in Hong Kong...

I'm from HK too, but I live in Canada now.
I've heard that the law is quite strict on street car modifications. Like you can't lower your car, or can't put on aftermarket exhaust etc.. but I'm not very sure.
You better check what you are NOT allowed to do before upgrading anything in Hong Kong. I read some car magazines from HK and there should be tons of places where you can get cheap parts for your SLK.

OH.. by the way, you should be able to drive with the top down all year round in HK since it's so WARM! (or too hot in some months) Show off your car! Coz I don't think I saw too many of them in HK when I went back last month. But there are lots of new E-class.. nice!

Spelling Mistakes..
Don't worry about little spelling erros here, it's not an English Lit class.
People on this board is very helpful and knowledgeable, and I'm sure they understand what you mean even there's minor typos. If you read other posts, even people who are perfect in English sometimes don't type with correct spellings or grammar anyways.

Because a while back when I posted some pictures of my SLK on the Cougar board, he posted a picture of a 99 Silver SLK with 19" chrome Giovanni Barlettas and said he was your friend. I didnt think there was more than one =)

yea,, but that is prolly the guy i was chatting with on cardomain.com.. i gave him some compliments on his cougar and he was giving me compliments on my slk (amid the plethora of inhumane insults about my choice in wheels) so i guess he is worthy of the "e-friend" title that according to him,, I already must of earned!
