my slk230's result at drag race

my slk230 is a totally stock car , expect I upgrade the K&N air filter

the best time
15.863@88.01mph

the worst
17.654@85.57mph <---- i got a bit problem on starting and mis-shift the 2nd gear .....

the drag track at Cayuga , where only 30mins away from Hamilton

and $30 for whole day (9 or 10am till 5pm)

since yours is manual , and it ran 15.8 ... if it was auto.. will it have ran the same time??

sry , really have no idea ....

but I believe the time on auto might be better than mine , since I m not very good on manual .....

well , so i m wondering if there anyone got the 0-60 and 1/4 miles 's time on their slk

'99 SLK 230

I tried one in my superchagred Miata, before and after the supercharger installation. It worked OK, but you really want a level streach of road on which to get consistent results. Hard to make several 0-60 or 1/4 mile runs on the public roads. I sent it back for a refund for that reason, but not because the unit didn't work.

I've heard from others that the unit doesn't calibrate exactly with a drag strip run, but it's close. It is good to measure before/after comparisons.

yes , I got a G-tech which can count 0-60 , 1/4miles , HP etc.

I bought it in 2 yrs ago , and now , they have a newest version , and it seems that it is kind of user friendly , it has a very nice screen now

actually , it is very easy to use , just plug and play , hehe
