yet again....poor thing didnt deserve it.
But it will cost ya just to get it....then you gotta wait months...even years to get your investment back. Thats why I dont part cars, only fix em...
Sorry to hear about your wreck. The insurance company is totaling that? Mine was worse then that I have been waiting to get mine back from the body shop.

For instances Ford airbag systems require 2 events to deploy:
1. Crash sensor trigger(the ones that will actually get impacted)
2. Body sensor impacted(measures the movement of the body of the car)
I mean hell another car and run into you while you are parked and it trigger only one sensor....so you certainly dont need it deploying then.
For the most part this damage didnt affect the frame of the benz, the unibody is fine. no given it has some front clip damage....but the frame remained uneffected.

not mine, I just buy cars and recondition them from auctions like these...the benz are my favorite....but would you want a BRAND NEW 2004 with 900 miles on it that had been wrecked and wont ever be quite the same?
I once saw a brand new...uhhh....crap I forgot now what it was...something like a new 500sel, whatever the big body 2 door benz with the largest engine in it is. I could figure it out but I dont care this much....this was in 2001, and it was a 2001, it had 9k miles on it, needed a front and rear bumper, plus a full repaint...sold for 60k BBV was 110k...you do the math....
This is what happened to mine...and the airbag did deploy (thankfully!).
With the windshield popped out like it was it seemed like a pretty severe impact....
I dont know what happened to your car, but I would have rejected any fix on a nice car like a benz, remember whenever something is wrecked its never quite the same later, it can be good or great if its fixed right, but even then things are never quite all there.

Different wheels but they won't notice at first, by the time they notice my job will have been done
