Lightbulb pre-facelife 2000 slk230

I have a pre-facelife 2000 slk230 and was wondering if it it possible to get a body kit like on the sport package(sp1) that would be reasonably priced. I have seen a couple online but most went for about 2300-2600$ for the whole kit. Any information on where I could go would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony

Here are a couple places that sell the genuine AMG parts.

www.autoclass.net
www.nrauto.com

There are fiberglass replicas available from places like www.spoilers.com, but the ones I've seen fit really poorly and do not come with fog lamps or grill inserts.

Is it possible to just get the plastic fenders and skirts that are all ready on the car painted to match the rest of the car?

Thanks for the help.

Talking SLK

Hm... Budget is everything. Should you have certain budget in mind, you can e-mail me, maybe I am able to help with price and pictures.

I am doing the widebody (not just the fender flares, but a true widebody, like the turing car), so I researched enough, tired of it as well...

Sort of...

The lower front and rear bumper aprons can be sanded, primed, and painted (with flexible paint) to match the body color. However, the area below the door isn't actually a skirt, it is just texture over the metal body. In this case, it would be best to buy a pair of skirts from an '01+ SLK, paint, and install them.

is it difficult to install? Would it be more beneficial to pay a professional to do it or could I could it?

I haven't done it but I've read that installation is simple. It's the painting that you need to have done by a pro.
